but wait a minute,
Ooppssie...
I guess I am a bit late.
Another overdue post, again...forgive me please=)
Anyway, I shall stop being lame here. The longhouse visit was held by CV! (Curtin Volunteer) every once in a year during the John Curtin Weekend. so yeah, we were grouped into different groups and of course, I was grouped with my gang as planned, with Ivon, JaeYang, Michael and Wei Min:) (Wai Kin wasn't there due to...er..err..I forgot) hahaha.
It was supposingly to be held for 3 days including that particular Friday , but because cultural night happened to be at the same night so we have no choice but to go only on Saturday.
During the performance for cultural night,we were all dressed up in Malays' style.LOL. I looked darn funny I tell you :)
So the following day, which is Saturday, we were all waken up at 6 something to get prepare then the bus came at 8.30am.
ooopssssiieeee...
I think I'm gonna get killed if they happen to see this picture of theirs.but who cares right. haha.
So they were too sleepy I guess,
and I , on the other hand , was too excited to get into sleep.

Finally, we reached our destination after one whole hour if I'm not mistaken
It's somewhere in between Miri and Bintulu.
To be honest, I do not really know where is it.
Rumah Johnson that is.
After all that, I was told that we were all arranged into different foster parents. And with no doubt, my foster parents are definitely a very lovely one!
but but but....
sad thing is...
I realised I do not have a single picture with both of them..
darn sad right.
Once I got inside their house, they immediately dressed me up in their ngepan which is a kind of Iban traditional costume as I was late already.hahaha. coz' others has been staying there since yesterday.
At first, I have totally no idea why should we dress up in their costume, but after some time, I was told that we were going to welcome the visitors =)

seee, this is me and my friends wearing the ngepan. What do you think?
Oh by the way, in case you're wondering how Sarawak longhouse is, I tell you, this is not a really good one.haha. as all were already concrete. and
you know what?
even some of their houses have got television and most importantly, internet! (just that the line isn't that good).
There were reception as well! (so you can get the picture yes?)
