Things to do when I'm back in Miri.

Yeshh, as you can see from my title, I am gonna blog about where I should visit when I am back to Miri this time, which is like,real soon...
exactly two week times T_T

oh dear, it's just too soon to believe it...

anyhow, back to topic!!

like I said, I've a lot to do when I'm back to Miri...

I want to go those places where I have not had a chance to do so in my first semester...

well,not that there are many places to visit like what my Mirian friends told me,but still,you get what I mean!

I know right,
it is like sOooOO late only I realized that I have not visit all the places...
especially since I'd stayed there for almost 4 months.

But it's never too late huh (:


So yeah,
here goes ..

Places to go when I'm back to Miri :

1. Marina Bay, The Esplanade, Taman Selera Beach, Bakam Area Beach(this especially!!) etc.

beaches of course!! What else right?!!? Okay, if you still don't get what I mean, I am here to declare that I am so in LOVE with beaches. Yes,you heard it right...so my friends please bring me there ya,will you? teehee.

P/S: why are all beaches so beautiful and nice., you tell me :(

2. Lambir Hills National Park

For your information, Lambir Hills National Park is located along the Miri-Bintulu road, some 30km south of Miri town. It is really quite far for me especially I have no transport, at all!! Sigh~ How larh =( Oh yah, in case you are wondering, Lambir Hills is very popular among ecologists and researchers.. Just a sample 52 hectares of the park's 7,000 hectares revealed 1,050 different species of trees, and each tree supports 1,000 species of insect life! There are also a few hiking trails which would lead you to various parts of the parks with different attractions like waterfalls and lakes!! I love waterfallsssss.....especially its spectacular and breathtaking scenery...*lovess* OHHHH I can feel it but cannot touch it, yet, How sad.

3. World Heritage Site, Niah Cave

I think everyone knows this right...it is located within the district of Miri in Sarawak. Part of Niah National Park, the main cave, Niah Great Cave, is located in Gunung Subis and is made up of several voluminous, high-ceilinged chambers...
Actually, I wanted to have a visit to this cave since my first semester already...But time does not allow me to, so yeah...I am still hoping I would have a chance to go this semester...Well, let time decide for me, yes? (:

4. The Grand Old Lady on Canadian Hill

"Malaysia’s first inland oil drilling platform and one of Sarawak’s most important historical monuments. This landmark is about 30 meters high, next to a museum-cum-information centre joint ventured between Sarawak, Shell Malaysia and Petronas. "

Ohhh this, I know...all my friends went there already, and they said nothing there...teehee

but I somehow find it a shame if I never went there before,you know...because this place is claimed to be one of the must-visit-place in Miri...so you get what I mean? Therefore, I must at least go once!! with my parents most probably, since they are coming along with me for a short trip...whee!! (: Furthermore, The Grand Old Lady is situated at the top of Canada Hill, overlooking the entire Miri City. Thus, I want to go up to the top of the hill and see the sea from the hill...It is very relaxing for me (: and and and are there any paragliding in Miri? I wanna try that!!

5. Miri Crocodile Farm-cum-Mini Zoo

"It is located near Kuala Baram River Mouth (previous Ferry Terminal), a pleasant scenic Coastal drive along Miri-Kuala Baram Road from Miri will take you there in 20 minutes.Also, the First and the Largest Crocodile Farm in the northern region of Sarawak. "

This huh....I want to go because it is in Miri? teehee. Nah, I just want to pay a visit there only...After all, I am not so into zoo...so it is pretty okay for me if I could not make it there..

6. Sabarkas Commerical Centre

I know it's known for its night market but is this the one I went before? Can someone correct me if I am wrong? teehee. I am so blur all this while.

7. San Ching tian Taoist Temple

it is known as one of the largest Taoist Temples in South-East Asia... this edifice of worshiping is located in Krokop (about 10 minutes drive from the city centre). This temple open its doors in year 2000 and is cared for by the Taoist priests.

8. FOODD!!!!!!

kolok mee (Sarawak dried noodles), Sarawak Laksa, MeeHom Assam, Wantan Soup, Kueh Chap, Sugar Bun (fast food), Teh C Special, dimsum, Dian Bian Hu(Silky-Smooth Wok noodles, a popular FooChow dish) , etc...

And MORE FOOD!! =)
