I'm always gonna wanna blow your mind.

Hello earthlings! :]

I'm currently blogging live in the car as I'm on my way to Malacca..
It really was an unexpected trip though. My sister's car broke down halfway in the highway due to the excessively high temperature and all.
So my parents decided to drive all the way to the rest station @ somewhere between Pedas and Simpang Ampat while insisting my sister to wait there.

It took us about one hour to reach there.
After much discussing with the fellow Indian guys there, the car were towed off and off we went to Pedas to the car workshop.
Oh, did I mention that it was also my first time to Pedas..
Hmm,just in case you do not know where is Pedas yet, it is actually a small town in Negeri Sembilan and it is situated just nearby Linggi if I am not mistaken.

the decent workshop

where the car is in for an overhaul now.

Pedas...

I guess ,I wouldn't ever be bothered to come here if it's not because of the broke down.
LOL

It was very late by then so my dad suggested to drop by Tampin, my maternal hometown, to have dinner before we send my sister back to her hostel.

and wow, I couldn't believe that I'm finally back to Tampin again after such a long long longg time...
If there is one thing I missed there, it would definitely be the well-known noodle :]

and this is the restaurant I mentioned!

The history of this noodle is about more than 80 years ago and it's name Long Kang mee because the stall was set-up beside the drain when the owner started the business. But today, they beautify it with "Long Jiang Mian" and forget about the word 'drain'.

It looks like Wanton Noodle somehow right? but it's taste slightly different from it as it is smoother..you have to try it yourself, really.

*drools*

one random question, do anyone out there know why is North-South Expressway always have traffic congestion? I mean,it is expressway..isn't it suppose to be freed from congestion,to be the least?
And what's more, it gets even worse during the weekends. Sigh :(

Ahhh, what an experience.

xxx.

Anyways, since everyone have been talking about Paul predicting who will win in this match or that match, I think I am gonna blog about it too. When I first heard from my brother, I thought that Paul is just some homo sapien that can predict the fate of germany in the FIFA World Cup 2010. I did not really bother then.

Until this week, I was SO-CALLED to be so free so I thought of googling about Paul who can predict all the matches in FIFA World Cup so correctly.

...SO IT WAS AN OCTOPUS! omg, I have least expected it to be an octopus. Like seriously, an octopus....could like predict all the winner of the soccer matches..that.is.ridiculous.yes?

But then again, this octopus must be really cool! It has a name and it can predict the scores for Germany's major matches. Pretty impressive I have to say.

What's more? It can even predict the FIFA World Cup 2010 Final!

So , who is actually Paul?

Paul the Octopus is a common octopus living in a tank at a Sea Life Centre in Oberhausen, Germany, who is used as an animal oracle to predict the results of football matches, usually international matches in which Germany is playing. He came to worldwide attention with his accurate predictions in the 2010 World Cup. The first time Paul was tried was during UEFA Euro 2008. So far he has managed it 11 out of 12 times.

Paul was hatched from an egg at the Sea Life Centre in Weymouth, England, then moved to a tank at one of the chain's centres in Oberhausen, Germany. His name derives from the title of a poem by the German children's writer Boy Lornsen : Der Tintenfisch Paul Oktopus.

how did Paul make it happen?

Paul is able to make his predictions courtesy of Oliver Walenciak and his staffs. Two clear plastic boxes containing food (usually mussels or oysters) are lowered down into the quarium's tank. The boxes have the flags of two countries attached to them, one of Germany, and one of their next opponent. The container selected by the hungry octopus is assumed to be the predicted winner.
According to entertainment director, Daniel Fey, Paul showed his intelligence early on.
"There was something about the way he looked at our visitors when they came close to the tank. It was so unusual, so we tried to find out what his special talents were.

However, it’s like seeing footage of a golfer getting a hole-in-one. We’re not seeing the millions of times the golfer made the shot and it didn’t go in. It would be so much of a different if the golfer said it would happen in advance.

RIGHT?

as the world digested Paul’s prediction...
is Spain really gonna win tonight?

Hmm..

Updated: Oh.My.God! So the octopus was right again ... SPAIN ACTUALLY WON THE WORLD CUP FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!

Viva la Furia Roja! Viva Espana!

Congratulations on a well-deserved win.

Your football was a one piece of beautiful design.

and this triumph was seemed to be a victory for football, huh?

As far as I'm sad that Netherlands lose in the World Cup Final, I'm glad that it was settled in style. It might not have been the greatest World Cup Final in history but at least the best player from the best team scored the winning goal. And we can’t ask for much more than that.

Now that the World Cup Final is over, we can say that this octopus is reincarnation from a oracle, YES?

All hail Paul, the stupid psychic octopus!

"We won without getting off the bus." Helenio Herrera.

"It's better to fail with your own vision rather than following another man's vision." Johan Cruyff.

now a question: is Paul a male or a female?

P/S: I can't believe I actually stayed up for the World Cup Final to the very end! <3
